Dr. Mettetal has been in practice with addiction medicine since 2014 and has spent decades studying addiction, an organic brain disorder. He understands the accumulative impact drugs have on neurotransmission, and ultimately, a person’s ability to function in society.
Being a native to the area, Dr. Mettetal has witnessed first-hand, the impact opioid addiction has had on our region. With that, he has chosen to dedicate his growing knowledge and experience towards fighting the battle against addiction.
